We actually had plans for today. Not the normal lets figure it out when its time but actual plans to do something today. We were going to take Zoe to Rockefeller Center today to see the Christmas tree for the first time. Unfortunately after somewhat making the effort to wake up early our plans were foiled by the rain. The kind of rain where its obviously going to rain all day ruining any chance of going out. I think I will have to take day off of work a day or two this week in order to get this done as its important to me now.

Seeing the tree is more important to me because its a tradition I want to pass down to Zoe. I remember participating in this exercise many times with my mother. We would take a day go into the city and see the tree and the windows at the stores. I cant tell you if its something I enjoyed as a kid but its a pleasant memory as I look back now. That’s all I want for her to be able to look back and be able to say I remember doing this or that with my mom and dad. It does not matter what it is really as long as its something. I did a lot of stuff as a kid but it was all with my mother, not because my father was not around but because he working to take care of his family. I am also taking care of my family but somehow all the hardware my dad put in working I can exchange for the luxury of having time off with my kids and spending it with them building pleasant memories of the past for my children where Mom and Dad are both in.

Once I figured out how to make Brazilian Cheese Puffs. What may very well be my very favorite restaurant ever serves Brazilian Cheese puffs at your table. If you ask me it really is the best part of the meal. They put them on your table without having to ask for them. Whats the hells the big deal its just stupid puff thing when the rest of the meal I am about to enjoy is full of every kind of meat imaginable all cooked to perfection and I get excited about the give away bread. Well I just like them and that’s it . The food dorks have figured out that they are the best in NYC. Iv only had them at one other place and they totally sucked there there for I am having the best. So why did I figure out how to make them myself if I have a spot well mostly because I don’t have the money to go to this place all the time.

I just lied to you the real reason I learned how to make them was because I figured making them and putting the recipe up and some pictures and maybe a cleaver lesson I learned in the post would make for a good one. it turns out I really don’t care. I looked it up on the internet and found a few recipes and compared them for consistency as to pick the best one would best combination of my own. I picked the best one and went to work. The first time sucked but by the 2nd time I totally figured it out. Here’s a lesson for you “Learn from your mistakes while making Brazilian Cheese Puffs”. Now to brag but I can make a mean puff thing now.

I guess my point is you should have some cheese puffs because they are really good and you might just make them yourself someday and fell like you accomplished something.
